This zoom program is recommended for high school juniors, sophomores, and freshmen to offer a strategic overview of what students should prioritize for a successful college admissions journey and how to approach the process with confidence and less stress.

Topics include college admissions trends, admissions strategies, the evolving test-optional environment, the importance of researching and visiting colleges to find the right fit, and the importance of community service. They will share key timelines and action steps that can make this fall productive while easing stress around the college admissions process.

Discussion includes what admissions officers value when evaluating applicants and how students can develop a strong personal narrative that reflects their strengths, interests, character, and experiences. Another focus will be on the role of community service and the growing importance of meaningful “passion projects,” answering how students can turn their interests, values, and experiences into authentic activities that foster personal growth, demonstrate character, and show positive impact. Admissions officers place great emphasis on character, and thoughtful service can help students show initiative, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping their communities.

The presentation will be led by Ron Feuchs and Jackie Tepper, partners at Stand Out For College, LLC (www.standoutforcollege.com).
