For Grades 7-12 and Adults.
Artist and educator Ben Parker offers an opportunity to experience the magical combination of math, engineering, ancient Japanese art, and the humble material of paper. He will teach participants how to create paper corrugations and tessellations.
The program will begin with a presentation of Ben’s practice and the bodies of work that have resulted in his endless explorations. The workshop will then cover the beginning concepts of geometric origami and will include the opportunity to take things to the next level, at your own pace.
No prior experience necessary. Snacks provided. Registration required for paper engineering and origami tessellations.
