Calling all readers! A new StoryWalk^® is available to view at the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center. This season’s selection features Winter, Winter, Cold & Snow by Sharon Gibson Palermo.

Young readers and those young at heart are invited to take a magical nature walk while embarking on an imaginative reading adventure. Visitors are welcome at the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center, located at 100 Lyme St., Old Lyme, most days between dawn and dusk.

The StoryWalk^®, installed in 2024, promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. Stories will be updated seasonally and will feature books that celebrate nature. The StoryWalk^® is dedicated in memory of Agnes O’Connor, a beloved Old Lyme resident and volunteer who loved reading and nature.
