Banned Books Week Kick-Off: Read-In, Jeopardy, and T-shirt Printing – Sunday, October 5, 11:00am – 1:00pm

The Phoebe is kicking off the American Library Association’s Banned Books Week with a community wide Read-In event. Choose a book: banned, challenged, or any book at all and celebrate fREADom! This event is for all ages, no registration required.

The festivities will also include door prizes, a round of Banned Books Jeopardy, and the opportunity to print your own LIBRARIES ROCK! t-shirt.

LIBRARIES ROCK! T-SHIRT PRINTING INFO:

1. Bring your own t-shirts, bandanas, onesies, tote bags…anything flat! (The library also has an assortment of blank t-shirts to share.)

2. We are printing with WHITE INK, so chose your base item’s color appropriately 🙂

3. If you can not make it in person or send a proxy, we will print your item for you. However, if this is your best option, you must drop off your item at the library by Saturday, October 4th. The library closes at 2:00 that day!

4. And, the library will sell any remaining t-shirts after the event.
