Adventure Begins at Your Library! Summer reading isn’t just for kids!

Discover, learn, and explore with us this summer and earn raffle tickets for: Reviewing a book, attending a program, using Hiveclass, using HeritageQuest, participating in our reading challenge on Beanstack, and more!

All tickets must be submitted by August 15, 2024.

Hiveclass is a digital learning platform that provides access to over 1,800 skill based, high quality, educational videos covering 16 sports and activities.

Beanstack is an online reading log and challenge platform. Log your reading history, review books, and get book recommendations.

HeritageQuest is a digital genealogy and history resource. Discover your family history today. Search census, military, and immigration records.

June and July Events:

Wednesday, June 26th at 6:30pm – Transgender 101 with Jillian Celentano
Join us for a special talk this Pride Month and learn more about the trans and gender expansive population. Jillian Celentano, transgender woman, licensed psychotherapist, social worker, and advocate will discuss the truths and misconceptions regarding the transgender and gender expansive population. With her education, experience in the field, and lived experience as a trans woman, Jillian aims to help others understand how being trans is really not that complicated or scary!

Wednesday, July 10th at 6:30pm – Songwriting Workshop with Joe Flood
Interested in learning to write music and lyrics? Join us for a two session songwriting workshop with songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Flood. Joe will provide an introduction to the craft of songwriting in the first session and allow participants to share and critique their work in the second session.

Thursday, July 18th at 5:30pm – Phoebe’s Silent Book Club
Join us for Phoebe’s new Silent Book Club. Bring your own book and read with fellow book lovers! The first 30 minutes is reserved for chatting and mingling, the rest is for silent reading. No need to register, light refreshments will be provided.
