All sessions happen on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00. Registrations are appreciated but not required.

WHAT IS WRITING AND DOODLING CLUB?
Express yourself, gain confidence, de-stress, and meet new people!
Each session of Writing and Doodling club will have a loose theme and some structured activity.
Youth writers and illustrators are also invited to any/all sessions to use the time to present works in progress, make edits, and get feedback.
Open to all; whether you think of yourself as a writer or artist or not!
June 22– Special Activity: Exquisite Corpse Game and Collaborative Wall Art

June 29– Special Activity: Ekphrastic Writing and Doodling…yes, it’s pronounced eck-fra-stick!
Special Guest: Eddie Vautrain, News Media Now Instructor and Arts and Literary Magazine Coordinator at Old Saybrook High School
July 6: Special Guest: Published and Performing Poet and Zine Maker John Quinones Francis (aka Q)
Special activity: Q will teach us about his studio practices, share his work, and lead us through an activity of his choice
July 13: Special Activity: Time Capsules
Special Guest: A surprise Therapy Dog from Project Paws
July 20: Special Guest: Tattoo Artist and Illustrator Gabby Shea
Special Activity: Gabby’s choice!
July 27: Final Session! Guest and Activity to be decided!
